Hi everyone...my name is Carolyn Herman. I have a masters in counseling psychology and a love for writing.  My passion for mental health and for expressing ourselves via writing led to the birth of "YourStory".  I share a picture of myself with my beautiful mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's.  She is a huge part of my story, and I often write about her and the challenges of her disease in my own journaling.  Each of us has a story - how we choose to deal with it, work through it, preserve it, and share it can make a huge difference in the quality of our lives.
